MegaBITS is actually short for Mega Business IT Solutions.
Quite the mouthful but then again IT is full of acronyms!
MegaBITS is a new small business start up run by Andy Hoult, an IT professional with well over 9 years experience working in all sorts of jobs beginning with a field engineer position for a company who provided a similar service as MegaBITS does right up to Project Management for Dell computers in Ireland and managing a network of hundreds of servers in London Telehouse, one of the largest network hubs in the world.

West Cork seems to be missing a local service that can deliver the special touch with IT support that you just can't get from the "big guys" in Cork or Dublin for example. MegaBITS can be at your place of business in an hour or two, get to know your business and it's IT needs and provide a level of care that would be out of scope for the larger IT service providers in the city.

Because Andy has experience of managing huge amounts of equipment and how to manage systems efficiently and pro-actively mostly remotely, it really is possible for you to have an IT Manager of your own for €10 per month.*
